- ➤ Federal regulators voted to ban new models and replacement parts of certain foreign-made drones, a move that may mean local law enforcement & business operators will have to seek other gear when it is time to upgrade. Existing DJI drones will continue to be used. KCCI
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Effective Jan. 1, a new Iowa law removed annual and lifetime dollar caps and age limits for autism coverage in group insurance plans, allowing uninterrupted therapy for families in Ankeny; Rep. Eddie Andrews said insurers must now provide ongoing benefits for both children and adults. KCCI
- ➤ Consumers Supply Distributing is recalling Country Vet Biscuits and Heartland Harvest Dog Biscuits sold in Iowa because tests found salmonella contamination (no illnesses have been reported) and affected packs marked with an expiration date of Sept. 6 can be returned for a full refund. KCCI
