GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Hickman Road and University Avenue ramps along I-35/80 will open next week (if weather cooperates), and overnight lane closures on northbound I-35 and eastbound I-80 will begin Monday between the southwest mix and Highway 141 to allow crew lane striping. KCCI
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mary Charlton, director of the Iowa Cancer Registry, said the 2026 Cancer in Iowa report found 21,700 new cases and 6,400 deaths in the state, with pesticide applicators showing a 13% lower cancer incidence compared to other residents.
