Polk County tax assessments are rolling out to homes this week and early reports show the increases are smaller than those in 2023—homeowners seeing boosts around $13,000 to $16,000 may see only modest tax hikes unless the assessments rise over 20%.

Homeowners have until April 30 to appeal, with the first payment due on September 1.
