  • The Animal Rescue League of Iowa worked with authorities to rescue 11 horses and donkeys on Wednesday from two central Iowa locations and sent them to Second Chance Ranch in Polk County for care (exact locations remain undisclosed).  KCCI

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Students at Central Campus in Des Moines received a 2024 Ford Edge donated by Dewey Ford to support their automotive program, and Terri Saenz from the Ankeny dealership said the donation will offer hands-on training for auto repair, addressing a nationwide technician shortage (a critical boost for local technical education).  KCCI

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
