Good morning, Ankeny.
🎓 Education
Ankeny schools will adjust schedules to comply with Iowa’s Make America Healthy Again law by limiting screen time to 60 minutes for K-5 students and increasing physical activity—4th graders need extra recess and changes for 6th and 7th grades are in planning—while other grades already meet current rules.
🏛️ Government
120 Iowa National Guard soldiers will deploy this week to Washington for security at America 250 and Freedom 250 events following a send-off ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday at the Des Moines airport.
