- ➤ Residents from the Sheepsgate addiction recovery center stopped to help after a Honda collided with a Buick on Sunday just after 9 a.m. at NE 112th Street and East University Avenue near Mitchellville — the overturned car ended up submerged in water and rescuers freed 74 year old Kyle Spates while four others suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital. - ➤ A small plane made an emergency landing on an Ankeny golf course 12th hole Thursday morning after its engine lost power, Sgt. Trevor McGraw said. WHO 13
