Iowa will distribute $25 million from the Meta settlement to support teens dealing with mental health issues linked to social media (eligible teens are set to receive about $100 each) and is the first restitution fund of its kind amid a broader plan to improve youth online safety.

The Bondurant boy, Mighty Miles Ramsey, is now cancer-free after ending his treatment at Blank Children's Hospital.
He will be honored as a local hero at the upcoming Light the Night event on Oct. 3 at DMACC in Ankeny.
