- ➤ Superintendent Ian Roberts was detained by ICE on Friday and KCCI confirmed he graduated from Coppin State and earned a master’s from St. John’s before working at Baltimore City Public Schools and other districts. He was hired by Des Moines Public Schools in 2023 with a claimed doctorate from Trident University that remains unconfirmed—raising questions about his record. KCCI
