EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ DMACC and other Iowa community colleges risk losing federal funding for adult education by the end of June if Congress does not renew support, a change that could force students to pay for courses and impact over 11,000 learners statewide (including Ankeny's Emma Selby). KCCI
- ➤ The Iowa State Board of Education is considering changes to social studies curriculum to cover the role of U.S. and state government after a law required a review of standards; critics said the current curriculum overly emphasizes white and European history. KCCI
